Support the Club - Buy a Bench!

In the last couple of seasons since the removal of the unsightly plastic/concrete seating members may have noticed a lack of seating around the ground, particularly in front of the sandstone wall adjacent to the front pitch.

The Club Committee has now set out to raise enough money to purchase 10 new benches before the start of the season in April. We are looking for £100 per bench and so far we have money pledged for 4 benches.

Natwest CricketForce 2015

Natwest CricketForce is aimed at getting the ground and all of the club's facilities ready for play in time for the start of the summer season.

This year's efforts will be undertaken on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March starting at 10am. Not only will we be able to make important improvements to the facilities but this is also a great way of bringing members together. Whilst this is an ECB initiative, as a multi-sports club we would obviously be grateful if members of all sporting sections could lend a hand as no doubt some of the projects we've got planned would benefit all sections.

This has become an annual event over the last few years and has often been well attended but whether you're a player, parent or social member we would like to see even more of you getting involved at the club this year. To reflect this we will be holding a free social event to kick the season off from 7:30pm on Saturday 28th March for all our members. Those who help out in the day will receive a voucher for a free drink at the bar. Live band, "Late Arrival" will be performing and hot meals will be available to buy from the kitchen. More details on this and other social events planned for this year will be released very soon on our social events page.
