Junior Nets continue at Birkenhead School

The section has a very large and thriving junior section but we need more adult players at all levels of ability. We would particularly welcome adults willing to play 3rdxi sunday cricket.


Winter Nets Training

ALL sessions are at Birkenhead School Sports Hall as follows: 

Tuesday 24th January 2012  

8:00pm to 9:00pm - Under 15's This session will be in attendance with the senior players and any Under 15's who net beyond 9:00pm can do so ONLY at the invitation from a senior team captain.  There will be a charge of £2 per player for each session payable to the Age Group Manager.

8:00 pm to 9:30pm  - Under 17's are encouraged to attend this session to train alongside the senior players.  There will be a charge of £2 per player for each session payable to the Age Group Manager.   

Friday 27th January 2012

6:00pm to 7:00pm  - Under 9's and 10's

7:00pm to 8:00pm  - Under 11's and Under 12's

8:00pm to 9:00pm  - Under 13's and Girls 

There will be a charge of £2 per player for each session payable to the Age Group Manager.  

We have a total of 10 weeks (sessions) booked in this facility. 

PLEASE NOTE: ALL players Under 18 must wear appropriate safety kit, pads,gloves etc when batting against hard ball. ECB guidelines specify that ALL Under 18 players must wear a helmet when batting against a hard ball. Without the appropriate safety kit Junior Managers/Coaches will not allow a player to bat against a hard ball.


The arrangements for the coming Summer season are as follows:

 

Senior nets will be on Thursdays from 6pm prompt onwards - starting on 5th April 2012.

Junior nets All Age Groups start training on Friday 20th April 2012.

Training is 6:30-8:30pm every Friday for all groups except Under 9's who finish at 8pm.

 


 

Members of all age groups can of course use the facilities at other times so long as those under 13 are properly supervised by a parent or CRB checked club member.
