Welcome to the Under 9's
Choose your team below for fixtures, news and match reports.
The under 9's play in the Wirral Junior Cricket League. Training is on Friday nights from 6:30 - 8:00. The health and safety of your child is the main priority of everyone at the club so please be aware that your child will be supervised by the coaches between these times only. Please supervise your children before and after these times.

We endeavor to give as many players the chance to play as possible. Some priority does go to the older players in the squad as the younger ones will have another year in the squad where they will then get priority, This said there is still a mixture of ages and abilities playing each week. I hope you find this to be a fair system. With two teams and a lot of players to choose from selection can be a difficult process - please ensure you let the coach know as soon as possible if your child cannot play on the day selected.
Games are played on a Sunday and start at 10:30.
We are very fortunate at Oxton to have so many keen players and supportive parents. This allows us to be able to field two sides every sunday - we are the only local club who can or want do this. Sometimes other clubs cancel or rearrange fixtures to another date. As we would like the players to play as many games as possible sometimes there will be a mid-week game to catc up on fixtures.
There is a £2 match fee for all junior players who are selected to play which goes towards the costs of running the Friday night training sessions. This was a Junior Committee desicion to replace the pound on the gate for everyone on a Friday.
